Question: The description for the project management course is rather brief. What is the differece between the Project Management Course and the Construction Management Course.
Answer: The CMCP really focuses on the construction portion of a project and provides the tools to understand all the components of that specific part of a project. The PMCP was created because of a huge demand to look at managing the whole project process from beginning to end. We will be posting the PMCP module outlines in the next few days. If you would like to have it sooner, please provide me your email address - Gary.

Question: Gary: I received a flyer on the new Project Management Course starting in January. I am a member of PMI and am seriously considering going for certification as a PMP. My question is will this course in January be recognized by PMI as meeting their CEU requirements?
Answer: Our project management certificate program is a stand alone program. There are a lot of certifications from other organizations that this program would be an excellent preparation course. If we receive enough interest we may offer an additional offering specifically for the PMP, but this CP is an ASU program and we have not looked at how this course applies to other certifications, including PMI. There are other organizations and books that have excellent prep courses for the PMP.
