Ken Hanna - EAB Member

Ken Hanna is a Vice President of Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. and currently the Assistant District Manager for the Southwest District office. His is responsible for managing all of Kiewit Infrastructure West Co.’s large transportation and water and wastewater projects in Utah and overseeing owner relations. Ken has more than 28 years of experience in water infrastructure and heavy civil transportation projects. He possesses a wealth of construction management experience, having served in various high-profile positions such as project manager, lead estimator, project engineer, field engineer, project superintendent, structure superintendent, and quality control engineer.

Ken has been employed with Kiewit since 1980 and was phase manager on the successful East Dam project for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's Eastside Reservoir project, and project manager on SanTan Outfall Channel, Phase 2 project in Chandler, AZ and the SR68 Design-Build project in Kingman, AZ. He became a project sponsor for Kiewit in 2003 where he served as Principal-in-Charge on various projects such as All-American Canal, Yuma, AZ, US 60 Gonzales Pass Highway Reconstruction, Florence Junction, AZ and Pima-Maricopa Irrigation Project in Sacaton, AZ. Ken was promoted to Area Manager in 2004 and Assistant District Manager in 2011. His recent experience includes oversight on the $113 million I-15 Widening, 500 North to I-215 Design-Build project, the $200 million Pioneer Crossing Design-Build project both in Utah. Ken is well-respected for his creativity and leadership and provides strong guidance and accountability to his staff.
